About

At eighteen I became a student of Chien Lung and other movement arts with Constantine Darling, and this interest in the oriental healing arts led to two years studying traditional Chinese medicine (as well as western anatomy, physiology, pathology, epidemiology and pharmacology) at Middlesex University. Discovering Pilates in 1998, i first undertook an apprenticeship and then a full teacher training at the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance in London. I later became a yoga teacher with Prana College in Vancouver.

I trained in Thai massage in 2007 with the International Society of Thai Yoga Massage and with Metta College; and in Hawaiian massage in 2018 with Ana Jayna Gabriela in La Gomera.

I also hold a BA in philosophy from Durham University and an MSc in embodied cognition from Edinburgh University.

Now living in Medicine Island with my two daughters.
